Hey, you are lucky. I haven't been to Otakon at all! And I doubt I will be going anytime in the near future 'cause college is freakin' expensive and that I will be starting to save up spending money for when I go abroad in Japan during my junior year.

Fangirls are... hell. My ears start to bleed when too many of them gather in one place and they start chanting 'Yaoi' and shriek with glee when they see their favorite ho yay pairing 'making out'. I ain't gonna have any of that this year, if I can help it.

A lot of times when they see their favorite yaoi pairings making out, it's typically two girls. So I wonder, is it considered yaoi or yuri then? XD

Urgh, I hate the shrieking, it hurts my ear. I'm not that desperate that I find that so exciting. I rather buy doujinshi or look for good fanart on the web.

Though I do giggle when I have to say "aoi" in Japanese class because it sounds too much like yaoi. I think one time I accidentally wrote it in Japanese on the back of my Japanese homework along with yuri. I wonder if my sensei saw it... O.O I had other stuff written on there too. They probably thought, "this child is very strange". Eeto, nihongo de...kono ko wa totemo hen da yo. *shrugs*

well, it appears there's hope for me to go to Otakon. all that's left is my Hotel lodging budget, and that is what is going to make or break this trip. I won't be cosplaying, but at least I get to go.

Sounds like it was a hit then, huh? I was only able to make it for two days of this year's Tokyo in Tulsa (TnT), but hopefully Izumicon will be different .
